I miss a tooth in my lower jaw and that was noticable and in the long run I would get a deeper bite with all its consequences. Due to a metal allergy I couldn't wear traditional braces. For a long time I regretted that I would never be able to wear braces, so my teeth would always be crooked. Then my dentist suggested that I try Invisalign. Because the braces are made of plastic, I would be able to wear these braces. Even the gap of my missing tooth could be solved with aligners. The best thing was that despite the braces, you can eat normally, because you can click the braces out of your mouth. Hardly anyone noticed that I was wearing braces, even though I took the Invisalign out every time before eating. One time, the plastic discoloured...because I ate something with coloured herbs. After consultation with my dentist, I put the next aligners in a few days earlier, so the problem was easily solved! Another big advantage of the Invisalign is that it doesn't require a splint, which was also not possible for me due to my metal allergy. I got a night aligner that I put in every night. Because of the treatment with Invisalign, nobody can see that I am missing a tooth!
